Chapter thirty-eight records the making of the Bronze Altar, the Basin, and the Tabernacle courtyard. Chapter thirty-nine details the completion of the priestly garments exactly as commanded. Chapter forty recounts the erection of the Tabernacle, the arrangement of its furnishings, and the glorious descent of the cloud as the presence of the Lord fills the sanctuary.

These chapters reveal wisdom about obedience, excellence, sacred order, and divine presence. The repeated phrase “as the Lord commanded Moses” emphasises precise obedience in worship. The completion of the Tabernacle shows that faithful preparation invites divine manifestation. When the cloud fills the sanctuary, it confirms that God dwells among a people who honour His instructions. Wisdom teaches us to obey God carefully, serve with excellence, honour sacred order, and create space in our lives for His abiding presence.
